Two candidates running for multiple positions draw questions

GOODMAN, Mo. (KOAM) - There's some confusion surrounding the upcoming election in Goodman, MO.

J.R. Fisher and Clay Sexson are running against each other... for two different positions.

Both candidates are running for Goodman Mayor and for South Ward Alderman.

Both are positions both men have held before.

The McDonald County Clerk's Office is pointing voters to a Missouri Statute that disallows a party candidate from running for more than one office without withdrawing from one race prior to the election.
