Local library launches 'Hate Has No Home Here' campaign

GREAT FALLS, Mont. - When you open a book at the Great Falls Public Library you don't expect to see white supremacy stickers inside, but last week the library was informed that a statewide neo-Nazi organization placed stickers inside at least 16 of their books.

"They've been active in Great Falls for over a year. They've put hate, propaganda and people's lawns. They've put stickers up. They've done a lot of different things. And on Friday, I was informed that they had taken action here at the library," said Susie McIntyre, the director of the Great Falls Public Library.

The stickers were placed in the pockets of books in the genealogy section, in world war two books, and some biographies.

McIntyre says she wants everyone to feel welcome and safe at the library, and that these materials aren't a reflection of the library's beliefs.
