Nevada launches election text message campaign
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The Nevada Secretary of State has launched a text message campaign that allows the office to share information with voters.
According to the Secretary of State’s office, the initiative hopes to highlight trusted information about the upcoming General Election.
The text message campaign is said to increase access of critical information.
“Nevadans are getting inundated with election messaging everywhere they go, and it’s critical that all voters understand that they have access to factual, trusted sources of information,” said Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar. “These text messages will allow us to communicate important information directly to voters and help them navigate the electoral process,”
