Elizabeth Warren to campaign Wednesday in Northern Nevada
U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., will campaign in Reno on Wednesday for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in the run-up to the end of early voting.
Warren will appear at a pair of events in Reno and Carson City. Specific times and locations have not been released yet, but the two events will take place in the afternoon.
Warren, one of the most liberal members of the Senate, gained a large following during the 2008 financial crisis after being selected to chair the congressional oversight committee of the bailout program. She was first elected to the Senate in 2012, since becoming a progressive stalwart.
A release from the campaign stated Warren will focus on the economy during her visit, as well as early voting, which ends on Friday.
