N.J. crash caused dead body being transported to be ejected onto roadway
A five-car crash in New Jersey left a dead body on the roadway but no one died. Because, as it turns out, that dead body was in transport from a hospital to a funeral home in the back of a van which was involved in the collision, according to the New York Post.
Three people did receive minor injuries in the crash, according to the Post, and a horse, which was in a trailer being hauled by a truck in the crash, was unharmed, too. In fact, according to the report, the horse moved to the side of the roadway to eat some grass after the crash.
As for the corpse, the Post reported that it was on a stretcher, wrapped in a sheet, in the back of Honda Odyssey when the crash occurred on Route 17 South in Paramus just before 4 p.m. Friday.
According to the report, the truck pulling the horse trailer ran into the rear-end of a Jeep Wrangler setting off the crash which caused the corpse to be ejected onto the roadway.
