Andy Kim (NJ - Senator) voted for Kristi Noem

https://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_votes/vote1191/vote_119_1_00017.htm

I'm old enough to remember being told I would HAVE to support him at DU if he was the nominee.

Told all y'all. I saw his behavior up close and first hand. Cleaning up the floor of the Capitol does not make one brave.

And now - he has a job for the rest of his life.

He will never be Senator Lautenberg. Never.

For the record - We've never had a black governor or governor of color so I'm for Baraka or Spiller in the Primary.

I've called him 5 times since Tuesday and written three emails.

He's being weak.

Should've been Campos-Medina. She has guts and a backbone.

3. It makes a difference to you, and that's understandable and fine.

But I'm not going to get that upset at any Democrat who makes a vote that had no impact on the ultimate outcome. The person is confirmed whether I like it or not, so what good does getting angry about it do? It changes nothing.

Now I know, Biden didn't nominate anyone for cabinet positions as odious as many of Trumps picks, but as anti - all-things-Democratic as the Republican party has become, you would expect that most Republicans would have voted against most nominees. But in fact, the vast majority of Republicans voted to confirm the vast majority of Biden's nominees.

If 50 Republicans vote to confirm a nominee, then all Democratic votes become irrelevant to the outcome so they are just performative.

The Democrats of New Jersey want them to play cruel.

Be cruel.

You know how when you're sitting on 78 or for two hours and some asshole starts trying to drive down the median - and we are all screaming out our windows F bombs about their mother?

Yeah - that. We need that.

I'm thinking back to this time last year at a Committee meet and greet and how scripted and stiff he was . . . just blah.

the outcome. Reflexively voting against every Trump nominee risks angering their constituents for some. It may make people feel better, but some good that does if it ultimately results in another Senate seat turning Republican.

I hope Dems are keeping a list of those who vote for these grossly unqualified dangerous freaks.

10. Governor - I'll vote for the candidate who promises to give state pensioners a cost of living raise.

Our pensions haven't increased in 15 years.

Some low level retirees are now near the poverty line.
