Man to go free after allegedly trying to blow up gas station

A New Mexico man, Steven Gulley, goes on an anti-America, pro-terrorist rant after police say he shoved rags into gas pump nozzles and threatened to set them on fire. On a Saturday evening in April, Albuquerque police were called to a busy Phillips 66 on Wyoming near I-40.

The lapel video shows the bandana-like rags stuffed into two nozzles. According to witnesses, he threatened to burn and kill everybody. The clerk hit the emergency pump shut off button as witnesses phoned 911.

When officers asked Gulley for his name, he responded with "I've been known by the devil."
Once in custody, he continued his anti-American rant, saying: "I was born, raised to be a f***ing terrorist. El Diablo."
"I'm going to nuke this f***ing country. Red, white and blue is a b****."
"Washington, DC is going to get the first prize, motherf*****. Nuclear bombs at the f***ing White House."
He also directly threatened the president and 'Navy seals.' Gulley was charged with a felony: attempt to commit aggravated arson.

This isn't the first time he's been accused of threatening to set fire to gas station pumps. In August, Farmington Police arrested him at a Conoco. That case was later dismissed ...

In this latest case, a judge denied the state's motion to keep Gulley behind bars until trial.
