From the linked article:

Court records show state police arrested Garcia after they found him in a stolen car with 47 fentanyl pills and a gun.
Court records show he told police that had the gun to help protect himself during drug transactions.

The district attorney wanted him behind bars until trial.

A judge disagreed.

Garcia was released without posting bail. He hasn’t showed up for court and he is now he loose.
