A new study ranks Albuquerque among the least safe cities in the country.

In its new “Safest Cities in America” list released Monday, WalletHub ranked Albuquerque’s 137 out of 182.
The city got especially low marks for “home and community safety” and “financial security.”

came down to between Albuquerque and Lax Vegas, NV. Albuquerque was rated as half as hazardous as Las Vegas and that's why we're here in The Q. The one thing I've come to appreciate here is that
people are mainly polite and friendly, moreso than other areas with similar population that I've been in.
Yes, there is violence and car theft here but that can be avoided. Green Bay had a very good safety rating but there were horrific crimes there during the 7 years I lived there. Like the saying goes, you pays yo' money and takes yo' chance.
