The Cerro Pelado fire is making my air smoky

It is still 6 miles from me, but the winds today have been brutal. For the last 3 years I have been pulling dead trees and underbrush out of the Forest service land adjacent to my property - I think that was a good choice, and I will continue to do so.

Global warming REALLY SUX.

Thanks for this. I've been focused on the fires in Arizona and hadn't been aware of this. abqtommy Apr 2022 #2

There is some smoke, but with a big construction project in the earth-moving phase right behind our street, the air is brown with dust, and we dare not open any windows for relief from the heat and stuffiness.

wearily,

I was out today, lots of dust haze here in Albuquerque, lots of dust blowing on streets. I'm
sure there was fire smoke too. Stay safe everyone!
