(1,569 posts)I have only had limited travel in the SW though hope for more, but have not ever seen a RR.
And I am grieving the fledging of Peregrine Falcons from high-rise nest with webcam visible out my office window, so this helps with that. Wild life goes on!

(18,876 posts)One day I hope to retire in northern New Mexico. I grew up in Albuquerque and lived in Las Cruces for a few years. New Mexico is truly the Land of Enchantment.

(113,130 posts)visits my front yard frequently. I've tried it on cat food, but it doesn't seem interested. They do like strips of raw meat, gives them a nice change from scorpions and lizards. Mostly I hear the calls.
They are one of the few critters fast enough to catch hummingbirds.

I'll admit it is a pretty realistic looking sculpture. I missed it while it was under repairs, and am glad to see it back, Always a hi-light on the trip to Las Cruces.
