Lunch at their very fine restaurant (one of three best in the city, IMO), quick look-see, and back to the station via cab.

I'm posting the Rail Runner schedule for your delight and edification.

I don't think you can take the public bus from the Amtrak station in ABQ, but you can take the public bus back from the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center to the downtown ABQ RailRunner stop. If you want.

How long are you going to be in Santa Fe?

ABQ then SF. I'll be up in SF the 9th to the 13th. One of these times we must meet! If I'm feeling up to it, I'll message you. I just put my dog down so I'm kinda up and down emotionally. I'm hitting a fan fest in ABQ then off to SF for some introspection/downtime

a little closer to the date.

I have a week committed to helping out at the local homeless shelter, but I'm pretty sure it's the next week.

car at the train station (if possible). It's on the westside of Albuquerque. You'd have to pick which trail you'd follow -- you wouldn't be able to see the whole place, but the petroglyphs are amazing.
