2 APD officers face investigation, possible criminal charges

Two Albuquerque Police Department officers face an investigation and possible criminal charges stemming from their alleged use of excessive force in the beating of a person, according to KOB sources.

New Mexico State Police confirmed Monday it is investigation allegations of excessive force by two APD officers, stemming from an incident that happened March 20.

APD Chief Gorden Eden released a statement on the department's Facebook and YouTube pages ....
"We are committed to continued accountability and transparency and we remain committed to you," Eden says in the video.
APD Chief Gorden Eden, refused to return phone calls from reporters, preferring to hide behind APD Facebook and YouTube pages.
