Additional charges filed in Wellsville homicide

This is a strange story. I'm surprised I hadn't heard about this earlier, due to the number of people involved. I'm nowhere the scene of the alleged crime, but there were said to be eight assailants.

State Police have filed additional charges in the murder of a Wellsville man in his North Main Street apartment in March.

On Wednesday, State Police charged Kristopher Delill, 38, of Wellsville with second-degree felony assault and Richelle Kyser, 28, of Wellsville with felony first-degree gang assault.

Willing, N.Y. — (WHAM) - Eight people were arrested by New York State Police on Monday after a body was found Sunday morning on the shore of the Genesee River on the New York-Pennsylvania border.

The investigation centered around the town of Willing in Allegany County. Willing is a town located directly on the New York - Pennsylvania border, approximately 30 miles southwest of Hornell.

On Sunday morning, State Police were called to Jack Bridge Road along the Genesee River for the report of a human body. When troopers arrived, they found a human body wrapped in a sheet and plastic bags.

Forensic analysis determined the person who had been killed was Nicholas Burdge, a 23-year-old man from Wellsville. He died of blunt force and sharp force trauma.

WELLSVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) — Eight people, including two teenagers, are facing charges in connection with the beating death of a 23 year-old man in Allegany County.

Investigators say Nicholas Burdge of Wellsville was tied to a chair and beat repeatedly at a home in Wellsville. The suspects then wrapped his body in a sheet and plastic garbage bags before dumping it in the Genesee River.

New York State Police have charged the following people with second-degree murder and first-degree manslaughter:
