NY Republicans Katko, King, Reed, Stefanik vote "yea" on H.R.8015

Katko, King, Reed, and Stefanik were among 26 Republicans in the House who voted "yea" on "H.R.8015 - Delivering for America Act" to fund the USPS, including "Reversal of policies hindering delivery of mail". I was tracking this to see how my local rep, Stefanik, voted as she's thrown in big time with Trump, even scheduled to speak at the RNC. This tells you how damaging the issue is to Republicans.

Is supposed to be representing depends heavily on the USPS system.

I'm admittedly very cynical now and I'd be pleased to be wrong on this, but I'm guessing that these RepubliCons only voted for this as a bone to throw their constituents because a) they're up for re-election and b) they know the 'Con controlled Senate won't pass it, if it even gets through McTurtle to the floor.

And this token vote isn't going to prevent me from still cursing out any Stefanik lawn sign I see!

There's this house right when I pull into my street that's apparently a real fan - they have 4!!!

And I know that there have been protests right in front of her office since her first term and at the last big one I went to, there were only a handful of MAGAts, but they had a megaphone, so they were loud and caused a problem because they disrupted traffic. The few hundred of us protesters stayed out of the street! I fear for this election here given the number of signs I'm seeing, makes no sense to me!

It truly is a cult and Stefanik is just another Trump enabler pouring the koolaid to the ignorant, mislead and stupid.

My late dad was a registered Republican since he could vote (in the late 1930s I guess it would have been). He couldn't stand Trump and was thoroughly disgusted by what "his" party had become by the time he died in late 2018 (he had become a RINO and respected, liked and voted for Obama and Hillary). In a way I'm glad he crossed over to join my beloved step-mom before all of the newest BS, craziness and COVID. While I have my personal issues with him, he was an intelligent and politically rather well informed man who didn't suffer fools or tools well.
