I'm from Jersey and I don't like or dislike Andrew Cuomo.
OTOH, I'm an attorney and I find it suspicious that as of today eight woman have come forward to accuse Cuomo of bad male behavior. The accusations take him to the line, but not over it.
It's the sheer number that makes me suspicious. Before now, I was ready to consider there may be some substance to the amalgam of the accusations.
I ask you to consider whether this truly could be a set-up. Specifically, this has the specter, if not the fingerprints of Roger Stone. This is his M.O. Plus he's desperately making appeals for money. I ask you, for what? What does he need the money for?
It's not out of the realm of possibility, not probability. This just has the imprimatur of a hit job. Truth told, I think it would have been more effective with less than eight accusers myself.
And no, the underlying reason wouldn't be to pardon Trump. If anything, it's revenge for Cuomo making Trump look weak and ineffectual during The Pandemic. Just simple jealousy and revenge.
I want Letitia James, the AG of NYS, to get to the bottom of this.

(27,893 posts)This is happening in his 3rd term. Prior to this where were the allegations?
And Im not convinced this isn't about pardoning Trump.

(47,456 posts)Maybe you'd like to undergo what Christine Blasey Ford did. And, excuse me, but everyone in this thread is calling the women liars.

(718 posts)and the timing indeed does look very suspicious but there must not be any such thing as party loyalty. Aren't all of these women democrats
I suppose Stone or someone else could be paying them off. Otherwise how else do you orchestrate it

(12,824 posts)from Democrats (and people within the Cuomo orbit)? I'm calling that -- kind of a long shot. Are Cuomo's enemies (both in and out of the party) shaking the trees looking for dirt? Darned right. Is there a 'paymaster' running around offering 'money for stories?' I'd be surprised. And I'd be more surprised if there were a lot of 'takers' within the party.

(10,285 posts)... there are eight women, but I'm thinking of one I find disturbing and worth investigating; it's the woman who said Cuomo reached under her shirt to fondle her. The recent one from a woman who said Cuomo looked down her blouse does not seem like grounds for impeachment, to me. I do believe Republicans have started taking Democrats standard "believe the woman" to the bank.

(666 posts)Of groping her is refusing to talk to the police or file a police report or press charges...why is that? Some of the other women have made some ridiculous accusations like he made fun of my purple phone,he shook my hand and looked into my eyes..he called me beautiful in Italian using a phrase he uses often on campaign trail, he called us mingle mamas for hangi. Out together, he entered my personal space (while the picture she (bauman) uses as proof in her Twitter shows him plenty apart from her..one woman was distraught by a hug in 1999 that she came back to work for him again a few years later...this has stone written all over it in my opinion...8-9 women none who want to talk under oath and/or press charges...one in boylan who is running for office again and with a pac to take down dems like Biden Harris Schumer etc...even Heastie is now wobbly on impeachment bec none of the accusers want to testify or speak under oath...I am in NY and a native New Yorker..we must let the investigation play out

(10,285 posts)... the woman claiming she was fondled needs to be taken seriously, if she's serious. As the smoke clears, we may see a Trump fan behind the scenes.

(718 posts)This sounds like typical Stone stuff, you're right. What's the incentive to get people to play along, money or a hatred of Cuomo?
