NC man told FBI that Antifa lured him into the Capitol on Jan. 6. A judge didn't buy it

A federal judge in Washington sentenced an N.C. truck driver to jail and a long probation on Monday — not only for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the U.S. Capitol but to keep the Catawba County man from joining “another riot” after the next presidential election.

James “Les” Little, of Claremont, will spend 60 days in custody and serve three years of supervised release after pleading guilty in November to a misdemeanor charge of parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building.

While Little was peaceful, many around him were not. As many as seven deaths have been linked to the violence, 140 police officers were injured and than $1 million in damages to the Capitol occurred.

Little’s attorney, Assistant Federal Public Defender Peter Adolf of Charlotte, told Senior U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth that while his client had entered the Capitol, he had not taken part in the violence or destroyed any property.

I finally got some movement from my health insurance company towards getting a prosthetic leg after going through about six months of delay and aggravation. I'm in another two to three month wait while the state HHS decides if I qualify for the waiver program. If all of that goes well, then add in additional time to get the limb made so it looks like the earliest that I'll be walking is in mid-June, but I'm leaning towards mid-August as the likely date. There will be a lot physical therapy since I've been in the wheelchair for 19 months.

It looks like the loon is going to have some time to reflect on his crimes. It's nice to know that the judge wasn't going to allow him to blame anybody but himself for breaking the law. Perhaps they can start his morning routine in jail with an affirmation ritual where he has to say "Trump is a loser" for 30 or 60 minutes?

He said the defeated president’s supporters were peaceful but had been lured into the Capitol by members of Antifa waving Trump flags, according to a recording of the Jan. 13, 2021, interview played in court.

than be told that I owe you a new keyboard after the coffee spray. McClatchy reporters are actually more humorous than the public gives them credit.
