Minot Park District half-cent sales tax election set for June 3
MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) — Minot residents will be heading to the ballot box in early June for a special election.
This will be to vote on the Minot Park District’s half-cent sales tax proposal.
Previously, we reported on the Minot Park District’s half-cent sales tax proposal being brought to the Minot City Council, since the park district itself cannot levy such a tax.
The proposal was approved, and this week the council settled on June 3 for the official election date.
