North Dakota's only castle under construction but open for tours

Rolette County, ND - North Dakota may be home to miles and miles of farmland, but there are quite a few hidden gems throughout the prairie.

For example, did you know that there's a castle here in the Peace Garden State?

Back in the early 1900s, Irish immigrant Maurice Coghlan went big when he moved to Dakota Territory, building a 4,000 square feet, 6 bedroom home.

It's the big size and the 12 feet diameter, two story turret that makes it the only castle in our state.
