Hillary Clinton's campaign to air new ad in Ohio, geared toward families

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's campaign will begin airing a new television advertisement in Ohio aimed at parents and families.

The ad, named "For Those Who Depend on Us," also will run in Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada and Pennsylvania, according to a Clinton campaign aide.

The spot highlights Clinton's plan to give parents paid family leave, and help make child care more affordable.

Clinton hopes to ensure 12 weeks of paid family leave so people can care for a new child or an ill family member, according to her campaign website. She also hopes to ensure that families do not spend more than 10 percent of their income on quality child care.
