I must not have paid attention to the forecasts because it seemed to come out of nowhere. We were woken up around midnight by phones going off and the sirens.

Storms hit here in Columbus about 2:30am. I thought the roof was going to come off the house!

Crazy lightning, which was really frightening because a storm yesterday morning resulted in seven lightning strikes within a mile of our house. One house two streets away got hit and it blew out all the windows and broke pipes. So we didn’t want more lightning.

A friend over in the New Albany area said there were chunks of hail. She said they almost looked like ice cubes.

Another storm blew through around 4am, but this one wasn’t as bad.
