(1,404 posts)seem to be more focused on attacking Dems and Obama (I contacted his office to discuss this matter, but never received a response). Based on my personal knowledge and previous interactions with him, I didn't vote for him in the primary and his subsequent actions have only reinforced that decision. With considerable reluctance I've since made a donation to his campaign and will obviously vote for him in November, but he's really making it a rather painful experience. And it's not just me because other Dem associates of mine are even more pissed about this than I am.

(34,255 posts)I voted for Morgan Harper, I like that she is building a base with social services, like rides to the polls.
I am not reading about his campaign doing outreach to POC in the 3C cities with Dayton & Athens. That worries me.

Harper has a better chance, IMO, at the seat when Beatty leaves.
We were very impressed with Ms. Harper.
