(Wow is that a long web addy, sorry)
These snips are from the live reporters watching
snip-"In a heated back-and-forth on the pharmaceutical industry, Vance and Ryan traded barbs on which candidate was beholden to the drug companies. Ryan accused Vance of setting up a sham nonprofit to fight opioid addiction (it wasnt a sham but it was unsuccessful). Vance said Ryan was taking money from Big Pharma. That did give Ryan the chance to tick down the recent bills that were passed over the fierce opposition of the drugmakers: allowing Medicare to negotiate drug costs, capping out-of-pocket annual drug expenditures for seniors and capping insulin costs for Medicare recipients."
snip-"Ryan is being more aggressively personal tonight. On the federal bill to codify same-sex marriage, Ryan says, Only J.D. Vance can say that the bill that codifies same-sex marriage is not about same-sex marriage. Vance keeps his cool, saying Ryan didnt respond to his actual points objecting to the bill.
snip-"Vance again separates himself from the Republican senator, Rob Portman, he seeks to replace. He said the bill that Portman supports to codify gay marriage would violate religious liberty."

For example, if you had free unfettered religious liberty, laws could be introduced to reinstitute slavery or segregation.
