Ohio
Related: About this forumI got poll worker training this evening
It took a little more than an hour to go over the main points, and then about 1/2 hour to go over using the pollpad and voting machines. There is more to it than I thought, and they did a good job explaining. It looks like I'll get to work in the polling place in my precinct, or maybe in Marietta itself.
I think the special election in Ohio next week will be a good introduction for the work, and maybe good practice for Nov.
GOTV!

I met one of my friends for lunch. She thought it was a local election. She said she'd vote after I told her what it was about. She had seen Michael Kripchak signs, so maybe she'll vote for him.

(20,025 posts)Several people at the training session have been poll workers several times, and they were helpful. Thank you for working as a poll worker.
