Pokemon Tow: players cars removed from kids museum

SALEM -- Pokemon Go players take note: parking at the Gilbert House Children's Museum may help you capture Pokemon, but also may make your car disappear.

Pedur Brenhaug, 17, a student at McNary High School and CTEC, learned this the hard way early in the morning of Aug. 16.

Brenhaug, who was at Riverfront Park playing Pokemon Go, watched his father’s truck get towed from the museum’s parking lot.

“I was running back up to the truck to get my dad’s inhaler,” he said. “The truck was on the tow truck already, but before I could even get close, the driver got back in his truck and sped off.”
