Just set the program to record for now and future viewing. Spent a lot of years living/working in Salem, including many trips to Portland. I recall when the Portlandia statue was placed back in '85. Love the TV show! A brilliant take on what to me, the city was all about. I live east of the Cascades now, rarely get to Portland, so looking forward to the changes that will be featured in the 60 Minutes segment.

As I oft quote our state's motto, which I absolutely love, I'll do it again: She Flies With Her Own Wings.

Cheers!

I would have likely stayed if economic circumstances had been different.

I've spent the day reading a Portland history book from the late 80's. Really cool seeing the growth of the city and state. Hopefully 60 Minutes doesn't rip PDX too hard- it's a great city, but property and rent is ridiculously expensive, it's dirty and has a horrible homeless situation. The boom of folks with money from other places has made it a little less weird than it was in the 90's. The weird is more calculated and pretentious. Time's change and not always for the better.

Still don't plan to move away though.
