We're an Occupy committee attempting to organize actions in solidarity with occupiers in Iowa in conjunction with the Iowa Caucuses. Are there any republican headquarters located in the Portland area? Google is not helping me out, so any help would be appreciated.

(21,653 posts)The Governor, both US Senators, and 4 of 5 congressional reps are Democrats.
The Repubs haven't put up much of a fight here in years.
Plus, the Oregon primary isn't until late May, so unless the GOP hasn't decided their nominee by then, they probably won't even bother with Portland.
Good luck with your efforts.

(24,615 posts)Maybe check the outskirts of Clackamas county, or on the west side in places like Cornelius. Salem probably has something that caters to their iniquitous crowd, I'd think.
It's unlikely to be a short walk to the occupation.
