Lock Haven University fraternity suspended until death investigation is completed
LOCK HAVEN – A fraternity at Lock Haven University has been suspended temporarily after a 21-year-old man was found dead in an off-campus house occupied by several members.
The Alpha Sigma Phi chapter is prohibited from participating in any activities, use of university facilities and exercising other privileges until the investigation into the death is completed, spokesperson Elizabeth Arnold said Wednesday.
The individual from Portage was not a university student, she said. His name has not been released because not all relatives have been notified, Clinton County Coroner Zach Hanna said.
He was found unresponsive in a bed in a West Main Street house about 11 a.m. Sunday and was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
