Anyone willing to write me a brief script for when I call my PA Sen. Comitta

to demand they seat Democrat Senator-elect Brewster?

Rs are such lying, cheating, thieving hypocrites that I find it hard to keep my cool on the phone. Even if it's leaving a voicemail, which I suspect it will be if I call tonight. This is why I don't make as many of of these sorts of calls as I should.

I'm not proud to admit this (though, if I were an R, I could probably get elected partly because of this lack of calm.) If I have a script I can read, I have a better chance of making the call and not sounding like a lunatic. (You know, some crazy person who is infuriated that Rs are supporting armed insurrection and other fascist moves.)

For those unfamiliar with the story (so many fasist moves by Rs, so little time):

While the eyes of the nation narrowed on Georgia, Republican senators in Pennsylvania snatched the session from the state’s lieutenant governor and blocked the swearing-in Tuesday of a duly-elected Democratic senator in what amounts to an insurrection that threatens American democracy and rule of law.

Despite state certification of the re-election of Sen. Jim Brewster of McKeesport, the Pennsylvania Senate refused Tuesday to swear him in with the other contestants who had won election.

All because of a federal court challenge by his electoral opponent in the razor-thin race.

Well, the race was razor thin, indeed. A mere 69 votes secured the election for Mr. Brewster. But, he won.

He won.

And he should have been sworn in with the two dozen other victors.

I was receiving far too many texts & emails that I did opt out of a lot of them.

I have read that, according to people who've work for senators & congresspersons, calls and hard-copy letters are far more effective than text or email. But faxes are hard copy, so maybe they are in that carries-more-weight category, as well. If I recall correctly, RESIST bot requires payment to send the faxes. If so, I don't think it was much, but I'll find out.

Well, sound like a positive sign.

But I also got one from Turn PA Blue that wanted calls to PA Rs. I was trying to do that, but needed help with exact words because I'm terrible at making such calls without a script.

I just clicked on yours and I see it's not the Indivisible one I was thinking of. It's also for calls. Let's see if I get a script from them.

Oh, that one's about removing Trump. I actually did call my US Senators and my Rep on that a few days ago through Indivisible. I didn't do so well with keeping calm. That's what got me asking about a script for the PA legislature calls.
