(PA) Lehigh Valley lawmaker wants to raise Pa. minimum wage to $10

While Gov. Tom Wolf continues calling for a $15 minimum wage in Pennsylvania, a Lehigh Valley lawmaker plans to introduce a compromise of sorts.

Republican state Sens. Pat Browne and Daniel Laughlin proposal would increase the state’s minimum wage from $7.25 an hour to $10, according to a memo sent out last week to all state senators seeking co-sponsors.

“There has not been an increase in the minimum wage at the federal level since 2009,” the pair said in the memo.

Make them live on only $10/hr for two months, after freezing their other assets. They'll come around.
