Ex-middle school principal gets state prison term for soliciting nude pictures of girls
A former assistant middle school principal in the Selinsgrove Area School District (Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania) is headed to state prison for using social media to
solicit nude pictures of young girls. Christopher Scott Morrison, 40, was sentenced Wednesday in Snyder County to 9 months to 8 years in state prison.
He received a concurrent sentence of 8 years of probation and is required to register as a sex offender for 25 years.
The investigation that led to the charges included a screenshot taken by one of the young girls engaged in a group Snapchat with a male who was asking for nude photos. The girl’s father included the screenshot in a Facebook post with a request the male call him.
Police said the father missed the call, but when he returned it a man who identified himself as Morrison asked him to remove the Facebook post. During the conversation Morrison is alleged to have admitted asking the girl for intimate images, according to a state police affidavit.
Morrison pleaded guilty to four counts of unlawful contact with minors.
The girls ranged in age from 11 to 14.
