Pennsylvania Lieutenant Gov. John Fetterman (D) holds a 5-point lead over Republican Mehmet Oz in their race for the Senate, according to a new poll from Muhlenberg College and Morning Call.
The survey, released Thursday, also found Democratic Attorney General Josh Shapiro with a bigger lead in the states gubernatorial race against Republican Doug Mastriano. Shapiro had a 10-point lead in that contest, the poll found.
In the Fetterman-Oz race, which will play a pivotal role in the national race for the Senate majority, Fetterman had 49 percent support, compared to 44 percent for Oz.
When it came to favorability, those surveyed gave the Democrat a bigger advantage. Forty-four percent had a favorable view of Fetterman, compared to 29 percent for Oz.

(4,006 posts)The earlier polls where neither were close to 50% with a large amount of undecideds were meaningless. This is where we want to be. At, above or around 50% puts you in business.
Nice. We need the both of them to win, Shapiro especially. Oz would be bad but a net zero in the Senate, Mastriano would be the end of everything in the state.

We need to support Shapiro at every turn.

(10,702 posts)Let alone the likely turnout in 2022 post Dobbs. This poll suggests PA is gonna be a blowout if you adjust for the likely turnout of female voters.

(and there's gonna be lawsuits in both--that you can count on)
