maybe a year ago and the editorials no longer just echo the Block brothers rw beliefs. There's still Shribman, the woe-is-me centrist, Burris the libertarian, McGinley the rw Catholic and Ruth Ann Daily the local conservative columnist who's been at it for years. But they write op-ed columns under their own names so you know their perspective before you read.

The policies Oz supports align with the Block brothers, but Fetterman's local, living in western PA and has a record of trying to revitalize Braddock, one of the many towns that was left behind when the mills closed. Because of that I think they'll ultimately endorse Fetterman.

In PA-17, I expect them to endorse the Schaffer, the R over DeLuzio.

The real interesting race to watch will be PA-12. Summer Lee should win, but her R opponent has the same name, Mike Doyle, as the just retired PA-12 Dem rep. Will voters be confused and think they're voting for Mike Doyle, the retired Dem congressmen?

endorsement of Fetterman. I think Summer Lee will win despite the Rep. Mike Doyle. I’m in Jefferson County where there is no hope for any Democratic candidate to win in this county.

but he's already a failed candidate losing to Dem Lindsay Williams in 2018 for PA state senate (SD-38).

Generally, I don't think second acts play well in politics and PA SD-38 encompasses Schaffer's home base of Ross Township and Pine Twp. If he couldn't win that state senate seat, it's not real likely he'll win a CD although having R voting Beaver County will help him.

DCCC has stepped in to help DeLuzio, but needs to step up with more attack ads on Schaffer.

There was such blowback from readers when the PPG failed to endorse Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden.
Maybe? ... maybe!

Thank you Post-Gazette

but it literally mocks Fetterman for stumbling with words. I don't know how many times it will run, but I expect that to backfire. Whoever thought that was a good idea doesn't understand the parochialism of western Pennsylvania.
