https://www.visitbutlercounty.com/mapButler County (PA) resident here. Not much stock should be put into the amount of yard signs for political candidates one sees BUT I have never seen so many signs for Democratic candidates (specifically John Fetterman for Senate and Josh Shapiro for governor) in Butler County (+27% GOP registration advantage) in my life. In many election years, I see very few signs for Democratic candidates in Butler County. Another thing that I noticed is that the normal places and people that have signs for Republican candidates still have them but Democratic signs are appearing in places where I have never seen them before this year. This year is completely different in terms of the amount of Democratic yard signs. If one were to travel through Butler County (specifically the city of Butler and south) and not know any better one would think the party registrations would be a lot more even than a +27% advantage for the GOP. There is no reason to be pessimistic about PA. GOTV if you are a PA resident!

(35,695 posts)Pennsylvania will go solid BLUE on November 8th.
Dr. Oz can start packing up his snake oil after tonight's debate. Mastriano needs to start thinking about another career. We don't want either of these guys leading Pennsylvania.

(1,013 posts)If Fetterman even does a mediocre job at the debate tonight, Oz is toast and the election is over.
Those who are on the fence about who to vote for probably want to see what Fetterman is like for themselves. I shook hands with Fetterman at the Labor Day parade in Pittsburgh. From my experience, he looks great physically and has his mental faculties though there are definite auditory issues but that was almost two months ago.
Fetterman held a rally in Harmony (in Butler County) and had a capacity crowd of about 440 (pre-registration required). Not the same day but around the same time, Oz had a rally just south of Harmony in Cranberry Township and the reported attendance was 60 but some GOPeers (Google Oz and urine) claim the number was higher. The Oz gathering was at an Italian restaurant so the attendance was probably not more than a 100ish at best. The attendees at the Oz rally were pretty much GOP stalwarts in Butler County and, for some reason, Senator Tom Cotton. Only those who are hardcore GOPeers have any enthusiasm for Oz in Pennsylvania. GOTV and send Oz back to Jersey (if they want him back)!
