(17,027 posts)Are there enough people in that district who will vote for a Democratic Socialist? The Mike Doyle who is running now seems to want to take advantage of the name recognition. If he can get enough confused Democrats to vote for him along with the Republicans, he might have a good chance. Maybe that district will have enough people to vote for a left wing candidate, I don't know. It seems unlikely to me that such a lefty candidate would win in PA.

(17,027 posts)AOC or Bernie. It's okay with me, but I think a large number of people won't be satisfied her. PA isn't really liberal from what I've heard, but maybe it will work out. They know more about what kind of people will be voting there. It's just surprising to me. If they can pull it off, that's great.
