Looking for other Pittsburghers

Curious about connecting with other DUers here in Pittsburgh. DM me please. I get on DU a few times a day, and always finding out news a few days before it comes out in the media.
I was just considering being able to connect even if the power is out. Or anything!

Question for you. Been to Pittsburgh a couple of times, really like it. Coming from Cleveland and I remember just before the bridge, I missed the lane and had to under a tunnel, got so lost. Remember an area with restaurants on the river.

It's possible that you went into the West End Circle with the plan to take the ramp for the West End Bridge. But somehow you got goofed up and missed the exit - don't worry it happens to everyone. So you were still on the south side of the Monongahela River looking at the city. In a couple of miles you get to Station Square which is a cool shopping mall with lots of bars and restaurants. You still haven't crossed over the river, but from Station Square you're looking towards downtown from the south side of the Mon. (This photo is the same view, only it's an aerial shot taken over Mount Washington.)

Or ... maybe you were on the Parkway I-376 heading into the Fort Pitt tunnel. You come out of the tunnel and you immediately are on the Fort Pitt Bridge, but nobody notices because they're dazzled by the sudden view of downtown. While you're dazzled by the view you quickly lose the ability to maneuver into the correct lane for your exit.

So you get off the wrong exit, but now you're wandering in downtown, which is flat and there are no more tunnels. It's so confusing for tourists! I apologize for our awful roads, substandard road signs, and our astonishing views.

I just made an account here after reading DU for years so that you wouldn't feel alone! I will DM too. What part of town are you in?
