I know that Democrats in South Carolina are an endangered species, but there must be a few of us here.

(1,047 posts)Fortunately for us, I hear that Richland County is more heavily Democrat than the Charleston or Greenville areas. That's comforting to know.

(2,847 posts)He's the owner of Mac's On Main and used to host the Richland County Democratic Breakfast once a month. I believe he is a member of IRmo city council and may be running for Irmo Mayor.

I'm not quite the fan I was right after he was elected, but holy cow! Gingrich all but announced that he would throw out the constitution if elected!

(4,652 posts)Just relocated from the Seattle area and am still in culture shock. Lots of retirees here from the North though so I imagine it's not as extreme as other areas. I'm currently deciding whether to stay or not...
