What are your thoughts about the proposed tax increase to fix our roads?

Yes, they need fixing but is there any guarantee TPTB will use that money for roads and not for something else they think is important?

(BTW, remember in 1984 an additional .01 sales tax was added for education? Anyone know,
does it really go for that?)

Let's tax the rich and fix the roads. After all they're the ones that benefit most from good roads.

not reason to think the current admin would use those tax dollars to actually fix the roads.

Gas taxes have not been raised in SC since rAIDSgan was in the WH. It is past time to raise them.

Personally, I hope Harrell squeals like a pig on the corruption in the state house. I truly believe he will only out the Dems though. Further entrenching the RWNJ's in office.

As soon a retirement age comes we are hightailing it out of here.
