Election Day is Tuesday November 6, 2012. Polls in Tennessee will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time.

FIND YOUR POLLING PLACE:

VOTE EARLY:
To vote early, you have to appear in person at either the county election commission office or at a satellite voting location opened by the county election commission. For the general election early voting begins on October 17th and ends on November 1st. You may vote early on any Saturday that falls during this time frame (except for a holiday).

VOTE ABSENTEE BY MAIL:
Voters who meet certain criteria are able to vote absentee by mail. That criteria includes, but is not limited to, being outside the county in which you’re registered to vote during the early voting period and all day on election day. For a full list of qualifications as well as how to request and mail-in your absentee ballot, see the website of the Tennessee Secretary of State.
