"NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Long Hollow Baptist Church in Sumner County has announced the first confirmed case of COVID-19 among the church community.

In a statement posted to their website, the church says Dr. Terry Chamberlain tested positive Wednesday morning after being hospitalized with serious symptoms.

Chamberlain and his wife first displayed symptoms on Saturday, March 7, immediately isolating themselves and seeking medical help. Both had last interacted with children at the church on March 1st and that was the last day they attended an in-person gathering.

Dr. Chamberlain is described to be in serious condition at this time and the church is calling for prayers for him and his family. According to friends close to the family, Chamberlain is a dentist with a practice in Goodlettsville and a message on the office line states the office is closed due to illness."....(more)

LHBC, for any that don't know, is a huge mega church. Wonder if they'll consider adjusting their services now that this has occurred.

"March 12 Update

In-Person Gatherings Suspended

Due to the spread of coronavirus in our community and the call to limit exposure through large gatherings, we’ve made the decision to temporarily suspend all large in-person gatherings at both campuses.

We’re now encouraging Long Hollow members and the community to gather with us at our Online Campus on Sunday. Learn more about these changes and how to stay connected with us at longhollow.com/online."
