Instead of "...changing public perception of what's happening behind the jail's walls." why don't you change what is happening behind the jail's walls. One would think that would be easier to do, but 'easier' seldom happens in a bureaucratic environment unless it lines someone's pocket.

(6,341 posts)I do love how the Metro Education Board offers 'a' teacher. I doubt that education itself was the issue with most of them anyway. It's more likely the same complaint I have had with education since I was in school... mainly that the 'memorization and recitation' model is a bad one. I also love how the main gist of the programs is 'work', because we all have to be good little wage slaves. But, I suppose anything is better than nothing.
