Pastor calls out 'extreme rhetoric' of Tennessee lawmakers after Planned Parenthood arson

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A Tennessee pastor is calling out lawmakers after a Planned Parenthood facility in Knoxville was intentionally burned down on New Year's Eve.

One faith leader in Nashville, Rev. Dr. Donna Whitney, says lawmakers are using "harmful" and "extreme rhetoric" against women's healthcare to bolster political agendas.

On Dec. 31, 2021, a Planned Parenthood clinic in East Tennessee went up in flames. Fire investigators determined Thursday the blaze was intentionally set. Officials are still looking for the suspect.

Whitney is a member of the Pastoral Staff at Metropolitan Interdenominal Church of Nashville. She says using violence that could result in loss of life is contrary to the Christian belief of valuing life.

they must have plenty of footage of the perp. I can't imagine a clinic would not have plenty of security cameras in place.
