Saturday, October 3: The Great Tennessee River Rescue — a statewide event sponsored by Tennessee Environmental Council and Cumberland River Compact. Pull trash out of Tennessee’s rivers, streams, and improve the health of downstream bodies of water like the Mississippi, and the Gulf of Mexico.
Wednesday, November 11: Plant a Tree in Honor of a Veteran — a statewide event. We provide the trees. You find an appropriate place to plant on November 11 in honor of your favorite veteran, or for all veterans.
Saturday, February 27 2016: 50K Tree Day — our second annual statewide tree-planting event and tree giveaway."
