"You're an idiot babe, it's a wonder that you still know how to breathe."

"A group of demonstrators are organizing an outdoor Alternative Town Hall for Marsha Blackburn next Tuesday, Feb. 21, at the same time the Republican congresswoman is scheduled to speak inside Fairview City Hall.
A number of groups are organizing the counter-event, which will be held on the front lawn of City Hall from 3-6 p.m, according to an email to The Fairview Observer and social media posts from a group called Women for Justice Southeast Region.
Blackburn is scheduled to speak at 3:30 p.m. Because seating inside city hall being limited to 100 guests, the City of Fairview is requesting R.S.V.P.s and will give those who are already registered seating before allowing anyone in without a reservation.
While Blackburn will be inside city hall, the group plans to ask questions of a cardboard cutout of Blackburn as a prop outside. They also plan to video the organized rally and send a copy to Blackburn and post it online.
A Blackburn aide said Wednesday morning that her office had not heard of the rally, but that Blackburn "is looking forward to being a guest of the city of Fairview.
