Donna ISD will be shutting down all campuses Thursday and Friday after a credible threat was reported to police, according to a source familiar with the situation.

An AK-47 and a list of targeted students were found by law enforcement officers in the home of one of the suspects. According to the source, two to three people were involved in the foiled plot to open fire at a campus.

The situation comes a day after a mass shooting in Uvalde claimed the lives of 19 children and two teachers.,,,,

The school district released the following message to parents and staff.

“We’ve received a credible threat of violence that is currently under investigation,” the message read. “In light of the recent events and in an abundance of caution, we will be canceling school district-wide classes and staff will work from home. The safety and security of our students & staff is our first priority. Classes will resume on Tuesday morning.”

With every one of these mass murderers someone knew something was wrong with them. They probably knew they had guns, or had access to guns as well.

If you see something, or even suspect something is wrong, SAY SOMETHING TO THE AUTHORITIES!

The life you save may be the life of the would-be shooter. Get them help. They'll probably thank you for it in the end. Scores of people will unknowingly be saved endless mental anguish as well.
