Travis County releases November early voting sites, hours

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Travis County will have 171 Election Day voting sites and 41 early voting sites for the upcoming November election, according to a release from the Travis County Clerk’s Office.

Additionally, the release confirmed a previous University of Texas at Austin voting location will be moved to another campus location. UT said the prominent Flawn Academic Center (FAC) voting location near the center of campus won’t be available “due to construction and the re-design of open spaces at the FAC,” according to the release.

A new voting location will be set up at the Texas Union.

Leaders of the University Democrats at UT expressed concerns about the location change at an August Travis County Commissioner’s Court meeting, saying the Union’s size will result in “significantly fewer machines than the FAC.”
