Busted! Rep. Tinderholt Questions CEO Of Superior Health For Conducting Surveillance On Legislators - Lone Star Left
Superior Health Insurance (a subsidiary of Centene Corporation) is one of the alternative providers of Medicaid administration in certain regions of Texas. In the Bryan/College Station area where I live the only choices for administering Medicaid are United Healthcare and Superior Health.
Recently, the anticipated operational start date for the new contract awards is September 2024. At that time, Superior will support members in these service delivery areas:
Central Texas
Dallas
Hidalgo
Lubbock
Nueces
Travis
West Texas
Apparently, the CEO drew the ire of Rep. Tony Tinderholt (R) of Arlington who is a committee member of the state DOGE. I wonder what was in that report?
