Earlier on Wednesday, Clark posted a statement on Facebook on behalf of the boys parents, Spencer and Kallie Wright:
Levi Wright is seen being held by his mother, Kallie Wright, and while father, Spencer Wright, stands
Levis heart is beating on its own, he has a will to breathe but his sweet little brain was without oxygen too long and there is no coming back from that. We cuddled him all night and feel strongly that his spirit is no longer with us. We cant be selfish and drag this out for days, he doesnt deserve that. Shortly we will stop care and hold him close until his last breath on earth. My Baby, my beans, Mom & Dad love you always and forever! ... The statement added: Please give them time to navigate through this process. They will have more to share soon. Please send prayers for healing and comfort.
While the family is preparing for the worst, Clark told ABC4.com that the family has not given up all hope. She says they are still watching for any signs that may indicate a positive outcome. They also hope that sharing their story might connect them with someone who may be able to help them in their situation.

Rodeo star Spencer Wright holding onto hope after 3-year-old son found unconscious in water a mile from home
By Li Cohen
May 23, 2024 / 9:24 AM EDT / CBS News
Rodeo star Spencer Wright and his wife are making end-of-life preparations for their 3-year-old son after he was found unconscious in a creek, a close family friend said in updates posted on social media and confirmed to CBS affiliate KUTV. The boy had been playing on his tractor before he ended up in the water and a mile downstream.
In an interview with KUTV, Wright family friend Mindy Clark said that Spencer Wright's wife, Kallie Wright, had run into the family's home in Beaver County, Utah, for just a moment, and that when she came back out, their son Levi, who just turned 3 in March, was gone.
"[Kallie] saw his little tractor overturned and immediately dialed 9-1-1 and jumped into the water to find him," Clark said, adding that the family lives near a wash, or dry channel where water will flow through often after heavy precipitation. The Wrights will often drive through it in their truck, she said.
Levi was later found unconscious in the water about a mile away. ... "We don't know how long he had been in the water, but he had been carried quite a ways," Clark said.

Here soon Ill climb into bed with my baby and hold him as he falls asleep for the last time on this earth, Kallie Wright wrote. ... She added: We will miss him every second of every day down here but feel without unwavering doubt this is the best thing we can do for him.
Levi fell into a creek in Beaver County, in southwestern Utah, while riding his toy tractor on May 21. Emergency crews pulled the child from the water roughly a mile downstream, and a helicopter flew him to Primary Childrens Hospital in Salt Lake City. ... As his family initially feared the worst, the boy clung to life. When he briefly awoke from a coma days after the accident, it gave his family and the many people across the world whove followed Levis story hope for a recovery.
But brain scans brought news that left the family shattered, as Kallie Wright wrote in one of her several social media updateshttps://www.facebook.com/kallie.wonnacott.9/posts/pfbid0nsWSyTpBYZmmxctfsjtx1jEtMHcnapEiJ4JT3PGgbKutwpjvYF3eSCJhQzrQ8LUvl. Last week, attempts to wean Levi off a breathing tube and sedation were unsuccessful. ... According to the boys mother, the decision to take him off life support came after several sleepless nights, days of research, and multiple conversations with top neurologists.
