Vermont Governor issues new restrictions

Governor is issuing new restrictions. 84 positive cases today. We're 'at a tipping point'

Bars and social clubs are closed to in person service.

Restaurants close at 10pm.

All customer based establishments keep log of everyone who enters to assist contact tracing.

Require Vermonters to comply with contact tracers.

All must be quarantine if they leave the state and return (especially college students). Two weeks or 7 days with negative covid test.

Requiring tele-work for those who can.

Schools continue and essential workers can continue to work.

Recreational sports leagues paused.

(This is from the presser right now - my notes - I'm watching it)

expanding contact tracing as well.

in my county, there have just been a few new cases this past week (despite big upswing statewide).

So, today - in our county - I think one new case?

The bulk of the new cases are up in Washington County. I think a few schools have gone virtual for at least this week and are reassessing where they are on w/e.

We also have a tracking map for all school cases (and none near us).
