3 teens in custody after shooting incident, manhunt in Northeast Kingdom

COVENTRY, Vt. (WCAX) - Three teens are in custody after a brief manhunt in Coventry following a reported shooting incident.
Vermont State Police say that on Sunday afternoon, they received reports of a dispute involving guns, robbery and possible shots fired on Spencer Hill Road.
When troopers arrived, they found two people with injuries from being assaulted, including being struck with guns, but determined no one had been shot. However, they did find evidence of gunfire. Witnesses told them three people with guns had fled the scene.
Investigators say the two victims-- Keith Jacobs, 42, and Herbert Jacobs, 72-- reported that several of their guns had been stolen during the alleged assault.
The incident prompted a shelter-in-place order for nearby residents.
